California math adoption — state view

Across California, districts are making decisions about math instructional materials based on their local priorities, needs, and context. Together, those decisions can offer valuable insight into the evolving landscape of math instruction across the state. The California Math Adoption Dashboard provides a window into that landscape, showing which materials districts have adopted or piloted and, where available, what influenced their decisions. District leaders can use the dashboard to identify peers to learn from, ask about implementation experiences, or better understand what shaped a local decision. Researchers, publishers, policymakers, and others can use it to explore broader patterns and trends in math adoption across California.

Data reflects materials for the 2025–26 school year and may not yet include the most recent adoptions implemented for 2026–27. Do you have an update to share?
